Fox 2.5 Performance Elite Coilovers & Shocks Lift System 2019-2026 Ram 1500 V6 V8 4WD RWD
The base kit includes a pair of front FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coilovers and a pair of rear FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks. Changes made through the drop-down menus may upgrade the shocks or add components such as springs, upper control arms, rear lift springs, or helper springs. Additional upgrades are not selected by default and may affect the final price.
Air Ride Notice: These components have not been tested on vehicles equipped with factory air suspension. Please consult our staff before purchasing for an air-ride-equipped vehicle.
This lift system is assembled according to your vehicle specifications and selected components. Only the items selected for your system are included; not every component shown in the product images is included.
Estimated delivery time is approximately 6-10 weeks, depending on current inventory and component availability. A shock specialist will contact you after purchase to verify your vehicle and build details.

FOX Factory Race Series 2.5 Performance Elite coilovers and shocks are designed to improve handling, comfort, and suspension control on pavement and demanding off-road terrain. The oversized aluminum shock bodies dissipate heat efficiently, while the increased oil capacity and FOX race-developed high-flow pistons provide consistent damping during extended use.
The adjustable Dual Speed Compression, or DSC, system allows low-speed and high-speed compression damping to be tuned independently for different terrain, driving styles, vehicle loads, and installed accessories.
Diesel-equipped Ram 1500 models carry significantly more front-end weight than comparable V8 models. Because FOX developed these coilovers around the 5.7L HEMI using standard 450 lb/in springs, diesel models or trucks carrying additional front-end weight may require higher-rate springs.
The pictured Ram 1500 4WD diesel used 600 lb/in x 16" Eibach springs and achieved approximately 3" of total front lift with little to no spring preload. This setup was selected with plans for a future front bumper and winch. For diesel trucks without substantial additional front weight, 550 lb/in springs are generally recommended to balance ride quality and lift height.
- 883-06-165: FOX Performance Elite Series 2.5 adjustable reservoir coilovers for approximately 0-2" of front lift. Sold as a pair. Excludes factory air-ride models.
- 883-06-166: FOX Performance Elite Series 2.5 adjustable reservoir coilovers for approximately 2-3" of front lift. Sold as a pair. Excludes factory air-ride models and requires aftermarket upper control arms.
FOX coilovers are supplied with 450 lb/in x 16" springs as the standard configuration. Higher-rate Eibach springs are available for diesel engines, added accessories, increased front-end weight, or specific ride-height requirements.

Aftermarket upper control arms provide increased suspension articulation and help restore proper alignment on lifted vehicles. Upper control arms are required when using the 2-3" lift coilovers and are particularly important for vehicles lifted approximately 3-3.5".

Timbren helper springs replace the factory frame-mounted jounce stops with progressive-rate rubber springs. They automatically respond to changing load conditions to provide additional support and reduce suspension sag.
Timbren helper springs do not increase the vehicle manufacturer's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, or GVWR.
