The 2.5 Factory Series Coil-over IFP shock for Chevrolet Avalanche 1500, Silverado 1500, Suburban 1500, Tahoe; GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon is a bolt-on shock made of precision-extruded aluminum for rustless cooling capacity. The vehicle-specific upper mount includes a composite bushing that isolates noise and vibration. Locking spring preload rings and a top quality racing coil deliver optimal spring rate. Part #883-02-028 shocks bolt on with no modifications and are designed to level your truck front-to-rear. Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube separates shock oil from nitrogen gas, eliminating aeration and allowing maximum performance from the precision valving.
